To celebrate this month we will read “Two Friends” by Dean Robbins. Two friends, Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass, get together for tea and conversation. They recount their similar stories fighting to win rights for women and African Americans. We’ll also learn more about the Library of Congress collection in his name. Grades K-6. Presented by the Hagen Ranch Road Branch.
