Delray Beach Turkey Trot

Please join us for the 37th Delray Beach Turkey Trot 5K Run/Health Walk at Anchor Park in Delray Beach. Feel the breeze as you run through the All-America City.

So many of you have joined us for the last 36 years and experienced one of the most scenic 5K routes in the United States.  To run along the Atlantic Ocean in November, when many throughout the country are trying to avoid the snow, is such a satisfying feeling, and we love to share that feeling with you.

All participants will receive a commemorative personalized 37th Annual Delray Beach Turkey Trot 5K race bib with RFID timing chip, event shirt, and custom finisher medal.   The chipped timed event will provide awards for the Top 3 overall (male and female) and top 3 in each age group.  Age Groups are as follows:  1-8; 9-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80+

• 6:30am – Registration and Packet Pickup Open
• 7:00am – Music and entertainment begins
• 7:10am – 5K fitness warmup
• 7:25am – Announcements and National Anthem
• 7:30am – Start of the 37th Annual Delray Beach Turkey Trot 5K
• 8:45am- Awards Ceremony

Distance/Course

5K (3.1 Miles) – The 5K Run is USA Track & Field Certified and will start at our beautiful Anchor Park, then continue along A1A to George Bush Boulevard, u-turn back along A1A, and finish at Anchor Park. You will not find a more scenic 5K course in South Florida.

Participant Medals:
All participants will receive a custom Delray Beach Turkey Trot finisher medal.

Timing System:
Your race number will have two timing strips attached to the back of your race number. Do NOT remove , bend or  tear these timing tags, Keep them on your race number and pin it to your running shirt of pants in all four corners. Destroying your timing tags will prevent you from receiving a finish time.

T-shirts:
Commemorative T-shirt for all participants. Late entrants not guaranteed correct sizes on race day.

Warm Weather Warning:
Temperatures/humidity can be high in South Florida.
Participants should drink plenty of fluids (non-alcoholic) for 48 hours prior to, during and upon finishing the race.
Beware of heat-injury symptoms (dizziness, no sweating, nausea, cramps, redness, incoherent speech and thoughts). Seek immediate assistance if symptoms occur. Wear loose, light-colored clothing. Race will take place rain or shine.

Medical:
City of Delray Beach paramedics will be on alert during this event if assistance is needed.

Directions:
From I-95 exit Atlantic Avenue East. Continue into downtown to Gleason Street and make a right.
Sandoway and Ingraham Parks (Parking) will be on the left. There will be no available parking at Anchor Park.

Parking:
Please carpool to race if possible. NOTE: Free metered parking at Sandoway and Ingraham parks from 6:00 am to 9:00 am. After 9:00 am metered parking will be enforced.
