St. Patrick’s Day observes the death of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. The holiday has evolved into a celebration of Irish culture with parades, special foods, music, dancing, drinking and a whole lot of green so we decided to add a green 5K Charity Run complete with a Super Fun After Party including Unlimited Green Beer, Mimosas and a lot of amazing vendors!!!

Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County (SPBC)
A nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that works to provide affordable homeownership opportunities for hardworking and deserving families in the cities of Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, and Boca Raton, Florida.

THE COURSE:
1. A 5K sidewalk run down Federal and over the Linton Bridge to A1A

March 13 – 8:30AM to 5PM
March 14 – 8:30AM to 5PM
Race Day – 7AM to 7:30AM

PARKING & RACE DAY:
localgreens is in the same plaza as Trader Joe’s and has a considerable sized parking lot so parking is of no issue. Come no later than 7:30AM if you have your packet and 7AM if you do not. Race starts at 8:00AM and depending on number of registrations maybe be broken into waves of 5 minutes apart. Fruit, water and bathrooms will be available before the race.

WATER STOP:
The Badass Jeep will be at the 1/2 way point to provide you with Ice cold water (8 oz. pony bottles). These are easy to run with so please do NOT litter our beautiful city, either drink it there or deposit in the recycle bin at localgreens when you get back.
