It is with great pleasure we invite all of you out for The LOVE DELRAY 2 volunteer day on August 25th from 8 AM- Noon. There are multiple congregations once again partnering to serve our great city! We have chosen to partner with 4 non-profits at 5 different locations.
We will gather on the morning of August 25th from 8:00-8:45 AM at Trinity Lutheran School located at 400 N. Swinton Avenue for prayer, fellowship, and breakfast (coffee, fruit, and snacks). At 8:45 everyone will go to the specific locations they have signed up to serve from 9am-12PM Approx.
Delray Beach Children’s Garden
Location: 137 SW 2nd Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33444
Target 15 people
Tasks/Skills: Mulching, planting, weeding, making seed packets, and possibly some small building.

“The Delray Beach Children’s Garden was created to nurture eco-consciousness in children. We believe that given the opportunity to learn, play and explore in nature, children will grow up wanting to be environmental stewards. We also understand the positive impact a greenspace can have on a community.
From the start, the founding committee believed that a garden for children should include children in the design and build. Children have been an integral part of creating what the garden has to offer today, from serving as judges at our design charrette, to working as volunteers throughout the build.”
